Peugeot e-Partner: this is how it is on the outside

On an aesthetic level, the Peugeot e-Partner maintains almost intact the characteristics that have always represented this model, so it will be difficult to differentiate it from the versions powered by thermal engines. Thus, the only differences will be given by some 16 ” wheels, the e-Partner logo on the rear and a charging socket that is located on the left rear wing.
The new e-Partner is available at two lengths (Standard and Long) and two different bodies: van, with capacity for 3 occupants and double cabin, with space for 5 people.

Within the e-Partner we find the new i-Cockpit with 10 ” digital or analog instrumentation with color screen. In addition, the central screen comes with specific graphics, with the connected navigation pack and voice commands that include real-time traffic information and danger zones with TomTom Services, as well as the location and availability of public charging sockets. It also includes the new e-Toggle automatic gear shift knob and a selector to choose the different driving modes: Eco, Normal or Power, as well as an electric parking brake.
In terms of load, the e-Partner can hold up to 4,400 liters of useful volume (long version) and 3,800 liters for the standard model. These are the same figures offered by models with combustion engines. The payload, meanwhile, is up to 800 kg. To this is added a capacity of up to 113 liters in storage spaces and an additional volume in front of 500 liters.
To meet the demands of its customers, the Peugeot e-Partner has two trim levels: Pro and Premium. Includes, but is not limited to, hands-free access and starting, mobile phone induction recharging, reversing camera, hill start assist, overload indicator, involuntary lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking or driver alert. driver.

Under the hood, the e-Partner hides an electric unit of 100 kW (134 hp) and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. As the brand itself indicates, the electric drive chain is similar to that of the new e-Expert. Like the latter, an adaptation has been made to the reducer, in order to respond to the load conditions due to the type of use of commercial vehicles. Thus, it is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km / in 11.2 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 130 km / h. In addition, it has three driving modes: Eco, Normal and Power.
Both versions of the e-Partner are available with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 50 kWh, which provides a range of 275 km. It has two types of chargers: as standard a 7.4 kW single-phase charger and optionally, an 11 kW three-phase charger. Thus, it can be charged in 31 hours with a standard socket (8A), in 7.30 hours in a 7.4 kW charging station or in just 30 minutes (at 80%) through a 100 kW fast charger. To promote energy regeneration, the e-Partner comes with a regenerative braking system that includes two modes (Moderate and Increased).
