Nissan continues with its offensive SUV and if just a few days ago we presented the Ariya, the 100% electric proposal called to be the successor of the successful Qashqai, now from the division of India comes a new proposal for the B-SUV segment. Dubbed Magnite, it will reach this market in late 2020 with technology as one of its main assets.
Magnite is an acronym for the words “magnetic” and “ignition”. While the first allusion refers to the magentism that its design causes on motorists, with the second name, emphasis is placed on the beginning of a new era for Nissan, with a global offensive of renewed proposals.
As Rakesh Srivastava, CEO of Nissan Motor India explains: “The Magnite is an evolutionary leap in the brand’s global SUV DNA. With cutting-edge technology, it will be a game changer in its segment. A bold offering in the category of less than four meters, we are confident that Nissan Magnite will redefine the B-SUV segment for the industry. It is built on the philosophy of ‘Make in India, Make for the World’ and has been designed in Japan with the requirements and aspirations of Indian customers. “
At the moment Nissan has not confirmed more details of this new crossover that comes to complete the range of Japanese manufacturers in Asia in the segment of SUVs with a size of less than four meters.
