Just a few weeks ago, in Autofácil we informed you of the new 160 hp 1.5 T-GDI engine in the Kia Ceed 2021 range. This option, with the MHEV soft hybridization system, is not the only novelty in this compact, as it is accompanied of the access variant 1.0 T-GDI MHEV of 120 CV. The best of all? These ECO-labeled mechanics have come to Spain to rival the Citroën C4, Fiat Tipo, Ford Focus, Hyundai i30, Mazda 3, Peugeot 308, Renault Mégane, Seat León or Volkswagen Golf.
Notably, both versions are paired with a seven-speed DCT dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Regarding its technical data, the Kia Ceed 1.0 T-GDI MHEV 120 hp it develops a maximum torque of 200 Nm, accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 11.3 seconds and reaches 190 km / h. For its part, the combined consumption is between 5.4 and 5.6 liters / 100 km for the WLTP cycle.
If we want more benefits, the Korean brand offers us the Kia Ceed 1.5 T-GDI MHEV with 160 hp and 253 Nm of maximum torque. According to official figures, it reaches 100 km / h from standstill in 8.6 seconds, registers a top speed of 210 km / h and an average consumption of 5.7 liters / 100 km.
The new 2021 Kia Ceed T-GDI MHEVs are available with up to three trim levels: Drive, Tech and GT Line. The first includes six airbags, ESP with Hill Holder, collision alert, lane assist, USB charger, Dual zone climate control, rear parking control with camera, fatigue detector, photosensitive interior mirror, fog lights with turning light, 16 “alloy wheels, automatic high beams, Android / Apple compatible 8” touchscreen, cruise control, light and rain sensor and multifunction leather steering wheel with paddles .
The Tech trim adds wireless charger, tinted windows, LED headlights, 17 “wheels, navigator with a 10.25 “screen, electrically folding mirrors and mixed synthetic leather upholstery.
By last, the dynamic GT Line is distinguished by elements such as keyless entry and start, parking aid, 12.3 “digital instrument panel, blind spot detector, electric handbrake, sports exterior kit, traffic sign reader, aluminum pedals, front proximity sensors, special upholstery, panoramic sunroof and specific steering wheel.
