The new generation of the Fiat Strada has just released a large range of accessories thanks to the Mopar division of the FCA Group. The company’s personalization catalog has presented a whole line of accessories designed to aesthetically personalize the new compact pick-up, as well as a large number of elements specially developed to make the most of the space and shapes of the new generation of the Strada.
Last April the new generation of the FIAT compact pick-up was officially unveiled, which is manufactured and marketed in numerous LATAM markets (Latin American markets). This is assembled in Brazil, where it receives the name Fiat Strada, although in markets such as Mexico it is marketed as RAM 700, which is why, curiously, it acts as an access step to the RAM Trucks range.
The innovations of this new generation of the Strada are many, starting with its new 4-door body, which has a completely new design, which completely breaks with its predecessor and gives it greater packaging. Hence, at first glance, it seems a much larger model, although it is not, because the new Strada has a length of 4,480 mm compared to 4,471 mm from the previous generation. Interestingly, the wheelbase of the new model is shorter, 2,737mm instead of 2,753mm on the Strada Adventure CD.
Despite the short time, it has been on the market, the new Fiat Strada 2021 has just released a rich line of optional accessories. This has been presented as part of the Mopar catalog and according to the brand, the announcement is made up of about 50 optional accessories. Some of these elements are intended to personalize the vehicle, as is the case of the official images presented by the brand, where we can see a unit of the Fiat Strada with a good number of stickers, two-tone bodywork, and some aesthetic elements.
In addition to the accessories intended to modify the aesthetics of the vehicle, we also find others that have a more practical function, such as the sidebars of the rear cradle or the different elements that serve to compartmentalize the cradle, including a cage created to be able to expand the area of load, since it allows to circulate with the small gate lowered.
As for the mechanical chapter, for now, Mopar has not presented any accessories to improve the performance of the model, nor do we expect its arrival. So the new Strada 2021 will continue to have the same mechanical range, which in Brazil has 2 Flex Fuel blocks, 1.3 and 1.4 liters that deliver 85 and 101 CV (88 and 109 CV if we refuel alcohol). Both options exclusively feature a 5-speed manual transmission and front-wheel drive. No option for automatic gearboxes or all-wheel-drive systems.
